MLP leader Joney Faragher

Joney Faragher states

‘ I am officially declaring my intention to stand as a candidate for Douglas East MHK in this year’s General Election. As I have said in this interview, I have lived for most of my life in Douglas, and I understand the issues of this area. I will be canvassing as soon as I am able to do so, and hoping to speak to as many people as possible about what matters to you, but in the mean time please feel free to get in touch with me either on here, at or 478406.’

Gareth Young

Gareth Young has stated

”I am formally announcing my intention to stand in the 2021 general election for Garff. I am happy to say that I will be building my campaign around the issues that the residents of Garff hold dear; issues like the placement of an ill thought sewerage works, for which I will be backing the “best 4 Laxey bay” group fully as my opinions align with theirs wholeheartedly, the poor maintenance of roads and footpaths that have been left to fall into disrepair, the slow response to flood mitigation and the drainage works that are essential to this and the lack of transparency when dealing with government accountability. These are not the only issues that I will be campaigning on; my Facebook page is in the process of being updated with more information and if you would like to get in touch with me to discuss any issues that you believe are needing to be brought to the forefront of governments attention you can do so through my Facebook page or email; we can make a difference.’
